Hollow
A worm
coiling in its
drying skin—
swallowed slowly
by the hollow
spreading in my chest.
—
It burns me.
It spins
my world.
—
And I can’t
find
the exit.
—
Sealed doors
keep me in.
Dissolving,
melting
what remains
of myself—
no trace
left.
—
Nothing left to save,
to protect,
to hold onto…
Only you,
born anew—
each time
the world
collapses.
